Grant brings new recovery options for Ind. community corrections participants

The funding will help address substance abuse issues in community corrections

DUBOIS COUNTY, Ind. — A new grant from the Department of Justice will add more resources for Dubois County Community Corrections to address substance abuse.

The Community Opioid and Stimulant Abuse Program (COSAP) grant will provide $600,000 over three years to community corrections.

The majority of the funding will facilitate a therapeutic community addressing those specific substance abuse issues while participants are in work release.
